Meet the Founders Bret Marino and Lori Winters
Lori Winters is a 33 year veteran in Cosmetology and Salon Ownership. She grew up as a Hairstylist in her Father’s Salon and moved to Chicago for a decade to work with Mario Tricoci Salons in her 20’s where she Managed, and was a member of his first Artistic Team as an Educator and Platform Artist. Her first venture after coming to Arizona was Salon Tru Scottsdale founded in 1998, a still successful Aveda Rental Salon which later was passed onto a Colleague, in order for Lori and Bret to Found L’mage Salon Studios in 2003. In addition to growing and managing, L’mage, Lori was invited to build Salon Tru Santa Monica in 2013 for the current owner.
L'mage was founded as Salon Studio Rentals for Beauty Pros, doing business under the same roof without competition, allowing complete autonomy with our support. We offer complimentary business consultations.
Lori believes that Responsible, Educated, Independent Operators can be in control of their own success, schedule and
business. L'mage is intended for Professionals who are ready to take on 100% of their service and product income.We can
set you up within weeks.
Bret Marino has been a Builder in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area for 30 years. After partnering with Lori, he
combined his building experience with the Salon Industry. After building Salon Tru Scottsdale, they founded L’mage
with the intention of giving experienced Indie Stylists a place to call their own without politics and taking on the
responsibility of the freedom that comes with ownership with low overhead, yielding higher income, and profit from
retail sales to their loyal clients. Bret still builds all L'mage Salons, and is a Leasing Representative.
Equity Partners
L’mage Studios now has 9 locations. Due to the rapid unforeseen growth, L’mage has acquired Equity/Management Partners in order to keep all locations operating smoothly with more emphasis
on the tenants' needs.
